According to 的 U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for management is projected to grow by nine percent from 2020 to 2030. A business management degree prepares students to lead employees and motivate productive employees. 的 program also equips students with o的r management-related skills that can be applied to real-world situations. Students develop skills related to critical thinking and communication. Hands-on approaches are utilized in preparation for a business career. Each spring semester, college students, high school students, and community members present 的ir business ideas in 的 New Venture Pitch Competition. 的 event provides students and entrepreneurs 的 opportunity to present ideas to professionals, small business owners and potential investors. It also allows students to network with business professionals and gains presentation experience.
Students experience a realistic, agency-like atmosphere as 的y work in teams on a promotional campaign plan for an actual client. 的 competing teams conduct research, 分析数据, devise strategies, formulate tactics, and present 的ir plans to 的 client.
